Savo Počuča

Savo Počuča was born in 1947 in Kutjevo, to a Serb father and a Russian mother. In an effort to get an education he graduated from the theological faculty and became an Orthodox priest. For years, he served in Okučani. He is the father of three children. Following Operation Flash he sought refuge with his family. During exile he was wounded and subsequently treated in the Banja Luka hospital. After that he started working in Šid. Later, the bishop relocated him to Erdevik, where he stayed until December 2006 when he was retired. He receives a disability pension from the Republic of Croatia, as a result of having been wounded. Today he lives as a pensioner in a church-owned flat in Bingula, in Serbia.
