Petar Rapaić
Petar Rapaić was born in 1926 in the village of Krbavica, in Lika. In that area there was a strong Partisan movement and the village suffered greatly in the Second World War. In Yugoslavia, his family was occupied with agriculture and livestock farming. During the time of the SAO Krajina [Serbian Autonomous Oblast of Krajina] he lived with his wife in the village of Krbavica. After Operation Storm he took refuge in Vojvodina. He spent five years there, performing heavy manual labour. Today he is retired and he lives with his wife in the village of Krbavica.
