Nera Vrkaš

Nera Vrkaš was born in 1954 in Makarska. Members of her family participated in the Movement of National Liberation. Since 1982 she has been living and working in Cavtat. She is a general practitioner. Following the occupation of Cavtat by JNA forces in October 1991, she did not want to leave the town. She shared the good and the bad with the rest of the inhabitants until the end of the occupation in October 1992. She witnessed the return of the prisoners from the Morinj and Bileća camps. She still lives and works in Cavtat.
