Miroslav Varga

Miroslav Varga was born in 1962 in Zagreb, where he saw the beginning of the war. Right at the beginning of the conflict he volunteered for the defence forces. In 1992, following a job offer in Osijek, he moved with his family to Osijek. Despite the fact that a ceasefire had been signed, Osijek was very much in a state of war at the time and his decision to relocate caused astonishment in those around him. His family moved into a house close to the area of Tvrđavica, which was at the time on the front line. As a result, he witnessed a great deal. Today he lives in Osijek with his family.
