Mile Radovanović
Mile Radovanović was born in 1944, close to Bjelovar. His family on his father’s side suffered in the Second World War: his grandfather was taken away by the Ustaše and was supposedly killed in Jasenovac. During Yugoslavia he worked as a jurist for the Municipality of Bjelovar. At the very beginning of the war his house was hit by a shell, and the lodge that he had close to Bjelovar was burnt down. As a member of the HSLS [Croatian Social Liberal Party] he was a city councillor in Bjelovar for one mandate. Today he lives in Istria.
