Maja Mateljan

Maja Marija Mateljan was born in 1966 in Split. During the war in the 1990s she worked for various international humanitarian organisations and in doing so spent a lot of time on the ground, traveling around Croatia and a large part of Bosnia and Herzegovina. She was also engaged with the Dalmatian Solidarity Committee and witnessed human rights violations that took place during the war in Split. Today she lives in Split, she is unemployed and involved with alternative approaches to spiritual development.
