Eugen Frković
Eugen Frković was born in 1950 in Benkovac. He worked at the 'Radnik' construction company. In 1983 he was fired because of statements he made in public concerning irregularities in the implementation of self-managed socialism. After that, he occupied himself with painting and various occasional jobs. In the period from 1991 to 1995 he spent most of his time in the area of Benkovac, which at the time formed part of the SAO Krajina [Serbian Autonomous Oblast of Krajina]. In the course of the war he found himself various life-threatening situations: wartime events have left a considerable mark on him and his family.
