Ana Pejanović

Ana Pejanović was born in 1948 in Slavonski Kobaš. At the beginning of the war in the 1990s she lived in Slavonski Brod with her family. She had four children. Her eldest daughter, who had left to study in Zagreb and occasionally came to visit family in Slavonski Brod, was killed during a shelling of Slavonski Brod on September 8, 1992. The family was profoundly affected by the tragedy that struck them. Ana Pejanović is now retired. She believes that the status of civilian victims in Croatia is not properly addressed.
