Aleksandar Antić

Aleksandar Saša Antić was born in 1973 in Split to a family of an officer of the former Yugoslav National Army. He spent his childhood and youth in Split, before going to study in Zagreb. At a very young age he showed interest in the new directions in music and took part in the formation of the alternative music scene in Split. As he spent the war and post-war years in Split, he witnessed various social occurrences characteristic of that town. He considers himself to be anational, and the system of values that he has adopted aims towards broader understanding of social phenomena. After completing his studies in Zagreb he returned to Split. Today he is a musician who tries to present, through his music, a critical and subversive social position.
